Our steel Heavy Duty Drive Cap is a must for anyone installing U-channel posts. This drive cap is designed to fit standard u-channel posts that are 2 lbs per foot. Simply slip the drive cap over the top of the u-channel post and drive into the ground with a sledge hammer. The drive cap not only provides a larger target for your sledge hammer, but also prevents the top of the u channel post from becoming deformed or damage during installation.
